Shelter and Janmashtami Celebrations
Course Timeline:
Introduction to shelter
Learn what is a 'town'?
Janmashtami celebration
Sing song MUMBAI MERI JAAN with actions , play the song on the system and ask the children to sing along
Show the shelter model and encourage children to identify the furniture in the house
Encourage the children to make building or tower using colorful blocks
Show the objects to the children and ask them to relate the objects and the rooms of the house
Play the rhyme on the system and do it with actions.
Teach the difference between big and small using the materials in the house model.
Show the difference between a town / city and a village using charts and posters
The Teacher must teach different objects of the house in a fun way with a help of a game
Children can be taken out on a stair case and do an activity for climbing to 1 to 5.
Discuss different types of houses using pictures and posters
Teacher can give this information to children why we are making Mor Pankh and what is the importance of Mor Pankh.
