Few sums of the concept to be done on the board discuss and explain the concepts by linking them to each other. Begin with smaller numbers.
Many more examples can be done on the board. Encourage the children to come to the board and stick the signs.
Show few examples by doing with the kids. After they understood the concept of before and after, teacher must do few sums with numbers on the board.
Let the whole class perform the activity. Go on changing the numbers.
